Frequently Asked Questions

If you are boarding your pet for the first time you may have lots of questions. If we have not answered them here or on our other pages, please don't hesitate to call.

  • How do you handle pet medications?

    We will give meds as needed by the owners instructions.  We make it a treat for the dogs using our cheese or peanut butter.  We do not give injectable meds, such as required for diabetic dogs.  We recommend these pets are watched by their veterinarian so that their condition can be closely monitored, and any further medication can be administered.

  • Can laundry be done at the kennels?

    Yes we do launder bedding if the pet should have an accident.  Also, If we groom your pet while it stays with us we will wash the bedding.

  • Are there separate charges for giving medications or laundering items?

    No, this is all included in the boarding price.

  • Are the kennels air conditioned in the summer?

    Yes!

  • How many times a day will my dog be exercised?

    The dogs go out for exercise at least 3 times per day.  Some dogs go out in a play group and others go out separately, depending on the dog's temperament, and at the owners request.

  • Will my cat have any time outside of the cat condo?

    Yes, we do let the cats out into their boarding area, which is separate from the dog area.

  • Is there a minimum age requirement for boarding puppies or kittens?

    No, but we will need proof of vaccinations.

  • How many employees work at the kennel?

    We have three full-time, and four part-time employees.  The owner, Marc Campbell, works in the kennels as well.

  • Can I come and view the kennels before I bring my pet for the first time?

    Yes, please call anytime schedule an appointment.
